IIAND SCORES A MAJOR LEGISLATIVE VICTORY!

ND Newsletter Image (300 x 225).png

It takes professionalism, passion and energy to protect your interests and that is what IIAND brought to the table.

Through endless meetings and work, your peers (IIAND volunteers) were able to get through legislation that will allow you to charge fees on specific lines of business.

Member agent Jon Erikson states, "I'm happy to hear that Insurance Agents in ND will be allowed to provide services to ND business owners for compensation on a fee basis. This will allow Insurance Agents to work together with their commercial clients to design an insurance and risk management program that serves the needs of the client."

He further states that "Agents must carefully consider working in this space however, and should discuss this type of service with their E&O Insurer and Company marketing representatives."
